The desert of Agafay is a desert located about thirty kilometres from the red city of Marrakech, on the first heights of the High Atlas massif in Morocco. This is a reg that spans several hundred hectares1,2. It is covered with stones and rocks in a hilly environment composed of dunes with white and ochre tones.
Riding the Agafay Desert on a quad is one of the main activities, which pleases both teenagers and adults.
Located on a plain at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is the capital of the south. Its character is as much African as it is Arab, reflecting its former role as a caravan station on trans-Saharan trade routes. During this private half-day excursion, discover how the city’s history has shaped what it is today.
The departure will be from your hotel or riad, and you will have approximately 45 minutes of road travel to reach the Agafay Desert or 25 minutes to the Marrakech palm grove, both incredible places for quad biking. We will provide all the necessary equipment for quad riding, and our guide will accompany you on an amazing adventure of about 2 hours. You will enjoy fantastic views of the High Atlas Mountains and Lake Lala Takerkoust in the Agafay Desert, as well as the oasis of 150,000 palm trees in the Marrakech palm grove. Once the activity is over, we will take you back to Marrakech and drop you off at your riad or hotel.
