Full Day Sightseeing Marrakech Guided Tour :

What can I do in Marrakech

If you’re traveling for the first time or making a return visit to Marrakech, we’ve pulled together several itineraries to help you get the most out of your trip! Enhance your stay in Morocco! You can enjoy a Private Half-Day Walking Tour with us, touring Marrakech. You will start with a visit to the old town called medina, with a knowledgeable guide. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks (marketplaces) sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. You can also enjoy discoveringthe famous Saadianstombs, place Djemaa el Fna and the palace of the Bahia. Roll-up for the greatest show on earth, which hits the Unesco-designated Djemaa el-Fna at a frenetic daily pace. Originally a place of public execution – the square’s name means ‘assembly of the dead’ – these days the Djemaa draws the crowds for more pleasant pastimes such as storytelling, snake charming, acrobatics and many more things... Though you could easily spend the majority of your vacation wandering around Marrakech's medina or historic mosques, no visit to Morocco would be complete without exploring the country's desert, and the quintessential camel rides! We offer a variety of tour options, including all-terrain drives, camel rides and hikes. The Ourika Valley, the Atlas Mountains, Ouzoud Falls and the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage-listed group of clay dwellings that once served as a trading post) are just some of the locales you may see during a desert tour. With plenty of things to do and see in both the medieval and modern parts of town, Marrakech is a captivating city. Marrakech's vibrant colors, aromatic dishes, indecipherable sounds and inimitable feel will linger in your memory long after you leave its corridors.

Marrakech historic and culture tour

You will be picked up from your hotel by a professional guide and driver. You will then start your day exploring Marrakech and seeing its landmarks. You tour will start by discovering the Koutoubia Mosque, it is the largest mosque in Marrakesh. It is famed especially for its magnificent minaret, the oldest of the three great Almohad minarets remaining in the world. The minaret overlooks the entire city with its astounding heigh of 69 meters. Afterwards you will visit the famous Saadian tombs: it is a mausoleum occupying a quiet enclosure at the kasbah, the tombs are magnificently decorated with colorful tiles, Arabic script and elaborate carvings.

Then you will head to the beautiful square of Jemaa El Fna, which is the main attraction of the city: this is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious tea, or to try local specialties while watching live performance that awaits you. At night, the place turns into a huge tavern where locals and tourists come to enjoy an open-air dinner or take in their surroundings. Finally, to end your visit, you will discover the Bahia Palace, which was a minister gift for his favorite and his 80 official concubines. A monument of stunning beauty, Andalusian and Moorish architecture are in harmony with each other, just like in the Al-Hambra of Spanish Granada. It is hardly astonishing that Bahia Palace has become interesting for the film industry. The complex has been used as the setting for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962). Meanwhile, it has also been listed as a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. Surely one of the most beautiful palaces of the city and country.
